Mindset Of Investing
Welcome to the Unorthodox Financial Series: Part 1: The Mindset of Investing
You’re probably wondering, what’s so unorthodox about investing? Well, you’ll have to join the class and hear my take.
But before you do that, what prompted this series?
A little story time…
2025 came, the bull run happened, and boy oh boy, we walked away with a very good payday (I’m talking about Crypto here). This prompted my partner and I, to start our construction journey, which we quickly realized was going to be mad expensive.
By the end of 2025, we decided it was time to upskill, so we decided to learn trading. You thought Crypto was misunderstood? Trading is far much worse.
Now, I’ll share all about my trading journey soon, but trading the financial markets really echoed to me how important investing is and how interlinked they are.
I used to hate on “boring investments.” The bonds that lock your money for 10 or 20 years. The stocks that need 10 years to grow. But guess what? That was the reality of investing.
Crypto, as much as we greatly benefited from it, is a very speculative market. And now that corporates have heavily invested in the space, it has started to resemble those “old boring investments” I hated once before. The ones that need so much money and time to see a meaningful return, if you know what I mean.
Long story short, in this class, I share with you a roadmap that my partner and I are using to invest going forward.
No guesswork. No speculation, well, a tiny bit, but mostly a well-structured plan on how we intend to build our investment portfolio, the mindset needed to get us there, and the investments we are considering.
Yes, to old boring investments, yes, to discipline and yes to repetition but most importantly YES to being informed and having the right knowledge.
Because that’s how money is really grown if you want to build WEALTH.
To join me on our investing journey, see you in the class.
